Christmas markets yule have to check out
When it comes to stocking stuffers, we personally prefer scouting for offbeat treasures and unique gifts. Instead of your typical retail runs at the malls along Orchard Road, why not swap it for a walk through these Christmas fairs, markets, bazaars and pop-up stores in Singapore. It’s no secret we love a good market here at Honeycombers!
New stores we’re into
Sneakerheads, rejoice! Known as for its wide selection of the latest trends, athleisure wear and cool sneakers by brands such as Adidas, Puma, Nike, Superga, as well as signature labels Two of a Kind and Down Up, Italian retailer AW LAB has opened its very first brick-and-mortar store in Asia Pacific. Decked in modern concepts, ultra-sleek shelving and bright lighting, it’s hard to miss this store in Suntec City. Plus, with regular stocks of exclusive collaboration and limited edition collections, is there any reason to give this store a miss?
AW LAB, #01-341.342, West Wing, Suntec City, 3E Temasek Boulevard, Singapore 038984.
Lisa Von Tang
An in-store DJ and free-flow cocktails on Friday nights? Count us in! A spin-off of fashion cult label Chi Chi Von Tang, Lisa Von Tang opens its doors at the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Expect signature bold designs of both brands, as well as bespoke creations which are made in its glass atelier room decked in Chinese brocades and tribal handloom fabrics. The fresh boutique also features works by local artists, such as its back wall graffiti sprayed by street artist Ceno2, as well as walls decorated with art by Billy Ma and MOJOKO.
Lisa Von Tang, #01-68, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, 10 Bayfront Avenue, Singapore 018972.

And we couldn’t resist
Don Don Donki
Can’t get “Don! Don! Don ki!” out of your mind? You’re not the only one. Buzzing on every Nipponophile’s radar now is the announcement of Don Don Donki at Orchard Central — the Japanese discount store’s only Southeast Asian destination. This 24-hour store is an absolute gem — you’ll find everything here, including Japanese snacks, homeware, electronics, stationery, accessories, weird party costumes; you name it, they probably have it. Think Daiso and Mustafa’s had everything you never knew you needed? Think again.
Don Don Donki, B1 & B2, Orchard Central, 181 Orchard Road, Singapore 238896.
