Newsflash! Daniel Boulud's db Bistro is now db Bistro & Oyster Bar, and it's a fine place to dine for seafood lovers
You know Daniel Boulud’s db Bistro Moderne for its exquisite French plates (particularly the legendary sirloin, braised short ribs, and foie gras-filled Original db Burger). Now, the newly refurbished restaurant is taking things up a notch with a grand revamp. Reborn as db Bistro & Oyster Bar, the renowned dining establishment boasts spanking new seafood creations and – best of all – a dazzling oyster bar as its centrepiece.
Care of executive chef Jonathan Kinsella, the oyster bar showcases a smorgasbord of the ocean’s freshest catch (handpicked daily!), from Atlantic and Pacific Ocean-caught oysters to the Boston lobster and the Alaskan king crab. The restaurant also offers its signature seafood platters, as well as additional items like ceviche and whole roasted Mediterranean seabass (one of the seasonal dishes).
Ready for Spring?
This season, chef Jonathan Kinsella and executive pastry chef Benjamin Siwek have crafted an array of springtime specialties. Don’t miss highlights such as the red snapper with fennel, orange and olive salata, and citrus gremolata, plus sweet treats like chocolate S’mores (graham crackers, Chantilly vanilla marshmallows, caramel ice cream) and ice cream sundaes in flavours like Rocky Road and Baba Rhum. Wash it all down with the new tiki cocktails – we’re going for the Mai Tais and Zombies.
