From Tokyo to Singapore, this creamy chicken paitan ramen is your new reason to visit Eat At Seven in the CBD
If you’re anything like us, you love gulping down a hearty, flavourful bowl of ramen. So get ready to slurp and burp; Menya Takeichi, Tokyo‘s top chicken ramen chain, has finally made its way to Singapore!
The restaurant is the fifth offering at Suntec City’s Eat At Seven dining concept within the Sky Garden. Menya Takeichi complements the current lineup of Enbu, Nikuhoni, MaguroDonya Miuramisakikou, and Nigiro Café with its signature chicken paitan ramen. The coveted dish features a creamy, collagen-rich broth made by simmering fresh chicken low and slow for hours, with springy ribbons of al dente ramen tossed in. Though Menya Takeichi also offers a clear soup alternative – made from umami-laden bonito flakes – we highly recommend opting for the former if you’re grabbing a seat at this new ramen joint (expect a queue!). But lest you really don’t feel like chowing down a bowl of ramen, Menya Takeichi also offers other mainstays like chicken tempura don and an array of sides. A new place to yell, “Itadakimasu!”.
