If you're guilty of loving the Netflix TV show, you'll wanna taste this pop-up meal by Chef Bjorn Shen at OverEasy Orchard on 16 and 17 June
How much do you love Orange Is The New Black? Enough to lock yourself in jail and stuff yourself with prison gruel? Don’t worry; you won’t have to do anything illegal to prove your passion. Just sign up for the Litchfield Penitentiary Cafeteria!
Imagine an immersive, pop-up dining experience that simulates the queasy mealtimes of inmates, Piper Chapman and Crazy Eyes. Happening over two days (16-17 June, lunch and dinner available) at OverEasy Orchard, this themed event gets you all psyched for the upcoming season of OITNB on Netflix, by giving you a meal that Galina “Red” Reznikov would approve.
Helming the diner will be Bjorn Shen – the genius behind Artichoke and Bird Bird – who will be putting his own quirky spin on the “nutraloaf”, a penitentiary staple that blends three meals into one. Yeah… we don’t wanna know what’s in it either, but if it’s cooked up by Chef Bjorn, we’ll be guilty of asking for seconds!
Just remember: don’t insult the chef.
