Say goodbye to moving blues with this hip, convenient app that connects you with delivery vans in minutes
The idea of moving into fresh new space in a new neighbourhood in Singapore is wonderful, but let’s face it; moving sucks. Just the thought of transporting the sofa, bed, clothes and horribly large collection of knick-knacks is enough to tire anyone out. But the good news is, you don’t have to do it — alone.
Meet GoGoVan. It’s a nifty mobile app that connects you to a network of delivery service providers with just a touch of a button. Coined as “Uber for logistics” by TechinAsia, GoGoVan has an impressive pool of drivers and vehicles — from motorcycles to vans and trucks — to help with door-to-door house moving, delivery of small parcels, as well as passenger transport. The rates are also fixed and shown on GoGoVan’s website, so you don’t have to worry about gathering quotations and unexpected hidden costs.

The app is super convenient to use, too. No more waiting (for days) to get a quote and available dates; GoGoVan confirms your transportation within minutes. All it takes are a few clicks: simply set your route and requirements, input your contact number, and the closest available driver will be in touch with you almost immediately. There’s also a GPS-tracker on each GoGoVan vehicle, so you can track your designated drivers’ location as well as their estimated time of arrival.
