Where to go for Christmas feasting…
Adrift by David Myers is the to-go for bold flavours and Asian-inspired dishes. ‘Tis the season for sharing, so treat your friends and family to a generous serve of dry, aged Australian OP rib with red miso glaze, paired with hearty seasonal accompaniments like Japanese potato salad. Perfect for a group of four!
If you’re in the mood for basics done right, Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay offers classics all through the festive season. On weekends, start your day with perfectly poached eggs benedict; you also can’t go wrong with a traditional roasted turkey for dinner. Desserts are just as unpretentious – think fluffy, airy profiteroles with peanut butter and chocolate.
Feeling extra peckish? Get both quantity and quality with the festive buffets at RISE. Go for the Angus tomahawk steak and honey-baked hams. Leave room for the black truffle ravioli too!
… And the New Year
Cosy up with your favorite person over Osteria Mozza by Nancy Silverton’s New Year’s Eve five-course dinner. No newfangled pairings of cuisines here, just classic Italian dishes done well, with just the right amount of white truffle. Here’s a tip: these meals are best taken with full-bodied Riserva wine.
Bringing decadence to the next level for the new year? Strap in for some first-row seats to catch the fireworks at Club55. Eat all you can at the New Year’s Eve buffet dinner, and prep your appetite for delicacies like honey-balsamico glazed Spanish pork leg, served with port wine jus.
Great news for fans of CUT by Wolfgang Puck – for the first time ever, this restaurant will open for brunch on New Year’s Day! Entrées include American wagyu sirloin steak and eggs, with sides of roasted fingerling potato, and more. There’s also a dessert trolley with house-made pastries, and free-flow selected alcohols.
… And the Desserts
Extend your celebration by picking up a Bûche de Noël from db Bistro & Oyster Bar by Daniel Boulud for home. Choose from a traditional chocolate praline, or go all out with its coconut mango counterpart.
If you’re on a dinner date, go for a gourmet grazing session at The Bar at Waku Ghin. The menu for two guests comes with luxurious bar bites, paired with cocktails and sake. Trust us, your date will be impressed.
