A “city beach” dining concept in Robertson Quay seems a little far-fetched, but Summerlong has done just that. The new concept aims to bring a little slice of beachside living and a little Mediterranean soul to the rather urban Robertson Quay. Its Mediterranean concept follows through fully in its menu offerings. The open kitchen, helmed by Chef Justin Hammond of Neon Pigeon, serves up a mix of Eastern Mediterranean dishes like the Persian fried chicken, Mediterranean smoked pork ribs, and the roasted forest mushroom tagine – a comforting dish that will appeal to vegetarians and even meat lovers.
