Heads up, gourmands! Drop by the GREAT Food Festival and see appearances by the world’s top chefs, while you feast on award-winning dishes from Michelin restaurants, and mouthwatering desserts
Singapore may be small, but when it comes to the variety of delicious food found here, it packs a major punch. It’s probably safe to say that you can’t walk ten steps without bumping into a bakery or cake shop, a crowded hawker centre, or a fancy fine-dining restaurant – and that’s the way we like it.
Being real gourmands, we were psyched to hear that The GREAT Food Festival is making its debut at Resorts World Sentosa in September 2017, bringing with it a star-studded lineup of award-winning chefs, heritage-inspired dishes, creative dessert concoctions, and loads more! A collaboration between the integrated resort and international gourmet festival curators, Savour Events, the event features over 40 top chefs and stretches over 215,000 sq ft. Ready for more? Then read on for the highlights.

Dig into over 50 award-winning dishes from Michelin-starred restaurants
The event’s biggest draw will undoubtedly be the world-renowned chefs who will be serving up their finest dishes at the festival’s Star Chef Arena. Indulge in Italian food, such as potato gnocchi from chefs Enrico and Roberto Cerea, celebrated names behind the three Michelin-starred Da Vittorio in Italy and Resorts World Sentosa’s Fratelli. Chow down on mouthwatering seafood like hand-dived scallop, perfected by Cat Cora, who helms Ocean Restaurant by Cat Cora and is the first and only female Iron Chef on Food Network’s Iron Chef America.
If you’re up for some contemporary Japanese-French fare, check out menu highlights such as French toast foie gras by chef-owner of Michelin-starred Restaurant Yonemura in Kyoto and Tokyo, Masayasu Yonemura. You’ll also get to try amazing contemporary Chinese dishes like slow cooked beef shank in soya sauce, whipped up by homegrown celebrity chef and head of Forest, Sam Leong. The best part? Dishes start from an affordable $10. What a steal!
