There's no need to leave the country for a Japanese feast like no other – just make a beeline for Keyaki at Pan Pacific Singapore
Whether you’re learning Japanese in Singapore or are crazy about Japanese fashion, we can spot you self-professed Japanophiles from a mile away. If you also happen to be obsessed about that perfect dining experience with all of your favourite nihon bites, you’ll be thrilled to know you don’t have to get on a flight just to find the holy grail. All you have to do is book a table at Keyaki at Pan Pacific Singapore for their Winter Kaiseki special, available from now until 25 December 2017.
Leading you on this epicurean journey with top-notch ingredients from Kyoto and seasonal produce from other regions is the restaurant’s new Executive Chef, Shinichi Nakatake. Having been trained at the Michelin-starred Joël Robuchon in Monaco—and a number of other world-renowned establishments in Japan and London—this talented maestro has come a long way since deciding to pursue a career in culinary arts at the age of 18. You’ll be in good hands as the Chef and his team deliver beautifully-plated dishes like Grilled Amadai (also known as Tilefish), Kinmedai (Golden Eye Snapper) Sashimi, Deep-fried Snow Crab, and Grilled King Crab. These creations are part of two unique multi-course kaiseki menus making their debut at Keyaki.
PERK ALERT!
From 17 November to 25 December 2017, quote “Honeycombers” when making a reservation to enjoy a complimentary glass of Sogen Sake with every order of the Winter Kaiseki Menu.
Seasonal exclusives aside, this is also the best place to be for anyone craving quality Japanese offerings. From fresh sashimi to belly-warming sukiyaki, you’ll find them here at Keyaki. If that’s not enough, there’s even a teppanyaki section where you can savour grilled classics while watching the chefs prepare your food behind the counter.
And if you can’t say no to beef, be sure to take your pick from Keyaki’s amazing wagyu selection. Since their annual wagyu promotion took off in 2013, the restaurant’s been introducing a slew of wagyu varieties—some of which are extremely hard to find in Singapore—from areas like Awa, Yonezawa, and Amakusa in Japan. Even exquisite offerings like Ohmi Wagyu’s served on a regular basis. Stay tuned to find out what new wagyu promotions Keyaki has in the works, otherwise, go ahead and knock yourself out with all the winter delicacies (and more!) you can eat; you certainly deserve it.
