TONO Cevicheria
Asia’s first Peruvian Cevicheria opens its doors this month, promising diners authenticity, party vibes, and only the highest quality ingredients. Brainchild of Peruvian Chef Daniel Chavez (co-owner and chef of OLA Cocina del Mar), TONO’s menu includes a selection of legit Peruvian ceviches as well as other authentic Peruvian dishes – best paired with the restaurant’s Pisco Sour, and other signature cocktails. NAMI
Exquisite ingredients, fine sakes, and a breathtaking view come together Shangri-La Hotel’s Japanese fine dining establishment, NAMI. The restaurant’s extensive a la carte menu, as well as executive set lunches, and omakase menus feature seasonal Japanese ingredients and are ideal paired with the restaurant’s vast catalog of sakes. On the menu you’ll find dishes like pan-fried maguro and the saga wagyu beef sirloin with sea urchin, rice and seasonal truffle.

BAM!
Four years since it’s opening BAM!, Singapore’s first modern shudo (the way of sake appreciation) restaurant, has revamped itself to become a fully-fledged, omakase-only concept. Executive Chef Pepe Moncayo serves up an affordable seasonal omakase menu that’s ideal for sake pairings. The four-course omakase menu will start from $98++ (six- and eight-course menus also available), while the vegetarian four-course omakase menu will start from $78++. Sweet tooths aren’t left out either – BAM! offers a unique dessert omakase menu that includes three dessert courses and petit fours at $48++.

The Dragon Chamber
Speakeasies are a dime a dozen in the CBD these days, but a speakeasy restaurant? Consider our curiosity piqued! Hidden within Lokkee at Plaza Singapura, you’ll find The Dragon Chamber, a Chinese gangster-themed culinary hideout that serves interpretations of modern Chinese cuisine. Just some of the dishes you can expect are wagyu truffle hor fun, flaming pineapple beef, and lobster crispy noodles. Or, be a little adventurous and opt for the signature Dragon’s Claw – a Singapore-farmed crocodile foot braised in a herbal sauce and served atop a bed of kale. Get your cameras out for this one – the Dragon’s Claw is served to you literally in flames!

Luka
Head Chef Takashi Okuno’s new contemporary Italian restaurant in Tanjong Pagar dishes out a hearty selection of pizzas, pastas, and other Italian classics – with a little bit of Japanese flair. The restaurant’s dining area surrounds its open kitchen, with a hand-built brick pizza oven serving as a centrepiece. While pizzas like the classic Margherita Bufala are certainly highlights, make sure to try the more off-kilter dishes like the smoked egg with wagyu and uni.

HolyCrab
Once only available through private dining service, HolyCrab has opened the doors to its first restaurant and will serve up Chef Elton Seah’s signature Singapore-style crab dishes. In addition to its classic Orgasmic, Balsamic, Succumb, and Devil’s crab dishes, HolyCrab is also famed for its fried Hokkien mee, and its bone-in ribeye.

Amó
Inspired by timeless traditions and bolstered by new techniques, this new smart-casual Italian restaurant by restaurateur-chef, Beppe De Vito, aims to brings together social dining and authentic Italian cuisine. The menu shows a focus on sharing portions to encourage interaction between diners, making Amó an ideal dining destination to entertain guests. Must-tries here include the spaghettoni with Boston lobster, butter roasted golden chicken with grilled corn custard, grilled octopus with friggitelli peppers, and a grilled angus beef tagliata with sunchoke mash.
