Archive by Alexa Chung – the exclusive collaboration between the IT-Brit and the high-street fashion store lands in the heart of Orchard Road
Rejoice style pundits! The biggest fashion collab to hit the high-street is about to land on our shores. If you haven’t heard yet, long-standing British institution Marks & Spencer has teamed up with uber chic style icon Alexa Chung for an exclusive heritage collection. Called Archive by Alexa, the 31-piece line drops next week at Wheelock Place, Singapore.
After delving into the retail giant’s massive archives and handpicking her favourite styles, Alexa has reworked them with an updated colour palette, modern accents and contemporary fabrics. In typical Chung style, expect wardrobe classics with a twist: think stripy-tunics-turned-shirt-dresses, printed mini dresses in vintage silhouettes and spiffy office staples. The first of Marks & Spencer’s ‘M&S series’ of exciting designer and celeb collabs, Archive by Alexa launches 14 April at Wheelock place, the brand’s flagship store here. Prices start from $69.90 – a touch pricey for high-street, but we’d gladly give an arm (and a leg) to emulate Alexa’s covetable style.
