One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, FLOOR! Get buzzed on happy hour shots at these bars with drink offers
We’re all for bespoke cocktails, fine wines, and craft beer, but sometimes all you want to do is get (responsibly) inebriated quickly for a night of clubbing. Even better still is if those shots aren’t going to break the bank. If shots of tequila, whisky, rum, and more adventurous drinks are your jam, here’s your happy hour guide to shots in Singapore.
This shot bar is well-known for its selection of shots and even crazier happy hour deals, which will get you $6 shots (selected shots only) from 6.30pm ’til 9.30pm daily. It also opens ’til 3.30am on party nights (Wednesday, Friday and Saturday), and that means you have time to sample all 130 shots at The Chupitos Bar. Drinks here are categorised according to different drinking palates and tolerance levels: Deadly, Fruity, Yummy and Daredevil. The bestsellers are the Milo Godzilla and Black Absinthe Bohemian.
The Chupitos Bar, #01-05, 3B River Valley Road, Clarke Quay, Singapore 179021.
It’s no surprise that one of Singapore’s most authentic Mexican taquerias has killer happy hour deals (all day, and daily too!). A shot of tequila here goes for $11, but you can grab four shots for just $33. And to make sure you’re not knocked off your feet, grab a couple of their fantastic tacos as well!
Señor Taco, #01-07/12, 3A/3D River Valley Road, Clarke Quay, Singapore 179023, p. 6337 6376.
The first thing we love about this Peranakan Place fixture is how it offers opportunities for new musicians to hone their chops. The second? From 5pm to 9pm every day, you’ll get house pour shots of liquor at just $6!
Acid Bar, 180 Orchard Road, Singapore 238846. p. 6738 8828.
FIVE Izakaya Bar
Payday is still a week away but you’re in dire need for an after-work tipple? We get you, and so do the folks behind FIVE, a CBD bar with a daily drink promotion that includes a selection of specialty shots (among other things). For $25, you’ll get a tray of six shooters – pick from the Sharkbite, Lemon Drops, Illusion, Banana Jumble, and four more.

Like the Mexicans, the Russian drinking culture is one famous for shots, and the drink of choice is undoubtedly vodka. At Stickies, a laid-back bar near Boat Quay, you’ll get to enjoy $5 dollar shots of 42 Below all day, every day.
Stickies Bar, #01-10, 11 Keng Cheow Street, Singapore 059608. p. 6443 7564.
