Looking for scary and haunted things to do in Singapore? This September, take part in a zombie reality survival game and watch out for your brains
Here’s one way NOT to have a relaxing day on a tropical island – finding yourself trapped on an island infested with zombies for a night. But if this somehow excites you, this 13-hour ordeal will indeed be happening on St. John’s Island on 2 September.
Organised by Void Deck Games, an immersive games company, the thrilling adventure called Pulau Zombie (Zombie Island) begins in mainland Singapore, before shuttling zombie-chasers off on a ferry to the island (it leaves Marina South Pier at 4pm sharp). Once you step on the island, it’s a survival situation out there, as you choose your alliances, embark on missions, scavenge for weapons, avoid zombies and try to make it through the night. Sounds easy?
Unlike a regular video game, Pulau Zombie is pretty intense and a game with disturbing horror themes; stay away if you have heart conditions and other medical conditions. And if you find the experience too extreme, you can opt for an early retirement – and join the land of the living.
Pulau Zombie, 2 September, 4pm at Marina South Pier
