Famous for winning The Great Food Truck Race in 2011, The Lime Truck and its Mexican food finally find a home in Singapore in the city
Food trucks might’ve been slow in rolling into the food scene (due to restrictions with licences and all), but here’s some news that should rev up your appetite all the same. One of California’s most buzzworthy food trucks is having a permanent ‘parking spot’ in Singapore, in Suntec City’s PasarBella, a popular food hub housing all sorts of stalls and snacks.
Called The Lime Truck, the roving Mexican-inspired food truck has famously left tracks in the global food scene, having won reality TV competition, The Great Food Truck Race in 2011. Aside from serving elevated Mexican food like beef short rib quesadillas, carnitas fries, and pulled pork tacos, The Lime Truck also whips up healthy food such as cauliflower ceviches and ahi tuna tostadas. Crank up your appetite to high gear; you’re gonna want to save space for this.
