Eat, shop and try your hand at bouquet arrangements and other workshops at Festival for Good: a coming together of Singapore’s social enterprises
If it’s not evident by now, we’ll say it again: whether it’s celebrating music, the arts or food, we love festivals in Singapore. But none quite have our heart like the Festival for Good – this social enterprise-led carnival is jam-packed with activities, including craft workshops, a pop-up market and live music. Best of all, it’s all for a good cause, as each of these brands seeks to improve society in a positive way and many work with disadvantaged communities.
Held at Lyf@SMU on August 19, the main feature of the festival are the Experience Capsules workshops. Learn how to arrange a dreamy bouquet with Hello Flowers!, give yourself a stunning mani with real dried flowers courtesy of Nail Social, and achieve inner peace with Hush TeaBar’s multi-sensorial and silent tea session.
Prefer something buzzier? Head to the pop-up market, where you can shop from fashion and beauty brands, health and wellness stores, or dig into health food, cupcakes, coffee and more. Live performances are in the pipeline too, but the lineup has yet to be confirmed. For more updates, check out Festival For Good’s official website or follow them on their Facebook page.
Festival for Good is happening on 19 August at Lyf@SMU, 71-77 Stamford Road, Singapore 178895.
