Get ready, fashion folks, for this year's hot fashion collabs with Tommy Hilfiger, Target, Uniqlo, and loads more...
Who doesn’t love a good fashion collaboration? Every year, H&M breaks the Internet (and our bank account balance) with their coveted designer tie-ups – but they’re not the only ones to get hyped for in 2017! Just for you fashion folks, we’ve got the scoop on the hottest collections and collaborations to look out for this year. Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid, and Victoria Beckham? 2017 is certainly shaping up to be a fashionable year indeed.
Gigi Hadid x Tommy Hilfiger
It-girl, Gigi Hadid, is no one-hit wonder. Following her debut capsule collection with Tommy Hilfiger (which made its rousing debut at New York Fashion Week last year), the supermodel will continue her role as the brand’s global ambassador for Spring 2017. Due out in February, the sophomore TommyXGigi collection will be all you can expect and more: get ready for an all-American-meets-nautical line of apparel, footwear, accessories, and fragrances.
Zayn Malik x Giuseppe Zanotti
Since ditching One Direction, Zayn Malik is shaping up to be quite the fashion force with not one, but two collabs in 2017. First up? A tie-up with luxury footwear designer Giuseppe Zanotti. The #GiuseppexZayn collection (launching worldwide on 28 January) will offer six exclusive boots and sneaker styles with prices ranging from $795 to $1,295. Also in the works is the hotly anticipated Zayn x Versus partnership with Donatella Versace herself to create a capsule collection for both men and women. The collection will officially drop in Versus stores globally and online in May.
Victoria Beckham x Target
Target is no stranger to high-profile designer tie-ups – and for 2017, the American retail giant has recruited none other than Victoria Beckham for a limited collection due out on 9 April. Get ready, because the Victoria Beckham for Target line will be a mammoth one: over 200 clothing items for both women and kids (ranging from easy-to-wear dresses to rompers and playful separates), retailing between $6 and $70. And the best part? Select pieces will also be sold online for global shoppers via victoriabeckham.com.
Marc Jacobs x MTV
Attention, fashionistas and music junkies: you’re gonna love this collab. Marc Jacobs is reviving the heydays of music with an exclusive capsule collection with MTV. The Resort 2017 line is pure ’80s nostalgia: think sequinned sweatshirts, logo t-shirts, and special edition tote bags in kitschy neon colours. Shop the collection here and in store.
Bella Hadid x Chrome Hearts
Bella Hadid is certainly having a great start to 2017. Fresh off her first major fashion campaign with Fendi, the It-girl is currently working on her debut collection with LA-based jewellery and apparel brand Chrome Hearts. Details are still under wraps and a release date has yet to be announced, but we’re certain that the rock & roll-inspired collection will fly off the shelves. Stay tuned.
Christophe Lemaire x Uniqlo
After two sell-out collaborations, Uniqlo and Christophe Lemaire are making their partnership official. The French designer has come on board as the artistic director of Uniqlo’s new Paris-based R&D centre – in addition to designing its new permanent line, Uniqlo U. Lemaire’s concept for Uniqlo U? Elevated basics for both men and women that stay true to the designer’s core philosophy: high-quality knits, crisp shirts, and stylish outerwear for the discerning shopper. Available online.
