Also confirmed as live music acts for the Singapore Grand Prix: OneRepublic, Lianne La Havas, Seal, George The Poet and more
This just in! The 10th edition – yup, it has been a decade – of the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix will be held on 15, 16, and 17 September. And as you probably already know, with the Grand Prix races comes a grand roster of musical acts that entices even the non-F1 fans to come out for the night races. So who’s playing this year?
Love them or hate them, The Chainsmokers will be pressing some buttons and singing songs into a microphone as a headlining act. The duo is a mainstay on radio everywhere, and have collaborated with some giant acts like Coldplay and Halsey; and yes, you’ve definitely heard that song before.
Other headliners also include ’80s pop icons Duran Duran, and anthem-rockers One Republic. Also, performing for the first time in Singapore will be Ariana Grande, Seal, George The Poet and Lianne La Havas. More acts are to be announced in the coming weeks – you reckon Radiohead would make a great headliner?
