F1 drivers, teams, royalty, celebrities, ambassadors, supermodels and the who’s who of Asia’s jet-setting party elite will all be at The Podium Lounge during the Grand Prix season
Can you smell the burning rubber yet? The F1 will be roaring into Singapore come 16 September, and we’re pumped for the high-octane craziness that will no doubt take over the city. Yes, we know the cars are the main event, but forgive us for getting a tad more excited about the awesome after parties where Champagne flows freely, and celeb spotting opportunities are rife. And one party we can’t imagine ourselves missing is The Podium Lounge, arguably the hottest VIP party in Singapore during the madness of Grand Prix season.
Returning to the exquisite grand ballroom of The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia, this year, The Podium Lounge has Yvette King, E! News presenter, hosting the glitzy extravaganza. Officially opening on Friday 16, pop powerhouse Sophie Ellis-Bextor will be kicking off proceedings with a bang. While party-goers on Saturday 17 can look forward to tunes from Mark Doyle (creator of HED KANDI), and on race night itself Grammy award winning vocalist Estelle takes to the stage to wrap up this three-day shindig in style.
Critically acclaimed Singaporean fashion house, ZENCHI, will be bringing their exclusive collections to the party for an epic catwalk showcase. Watch on in awe as models strut their stuff along a floating skywalk that will hover over Singapore’s longest pop-up island bar. Jaws will drop.
Art lovers; rejoice! Catch a glimpse of Kumari Nahappan’s iconic, contemporary paintings and sculptures, while famed speed-painter Armin Flossdorf of F1® Arts will be in action over the entire three days as he works his magic on canvas.
Tickets to The Podium Lounge are available for sale at www.podiumlounge.com/sg, starting from S$188.
