Go on a gastronomical adventure at this foodie fair featuring gourmet grub from Michelin starred and award-winning chefs
It’s back! The Epicurean Market will be taking over Marina Bay Sands this weekend for three days of gastro brilliance. Savour signature dishes from award-winning chefs, taste exquisite wines, shop for gourmet foods, and take a masterclass from top culinary talents. And this year, there is even more to celebrate; get ready for the return of some of our favourite celebrity chefs and restaurants, plus a whole host of newbies that are set to up the ante. Here’s a round-up of five things we will definitely be hot-footing it to once the hallowed foodie doors open.
1. Michelin starred grub
Now that Michelin has landed in Singapore and sprinkled its foodie fairy dust island-wide, you’ll be hard-pressed to get a reservation at any of those awarded a coveted star. Lucky for us, the team behind Waku Ghin and CUT, both of which bagged an elusive star, will be dishing up plates off the highest quality grub at affordable prices. We’ll see you in the queue…

2. Celebrate the grape
We ain’t gonna lie; here at Honeycombers HQ, we drink wine like water. Which is exactly why we’re pumped about the all new Sands Signature Series. Up your wine chat by participating in one of these premium masterclasses led by top wine and spirits experts. Choose between wine journeys including the ‘Whistlestop Terroir Tour of Australia’, ‘ Treasures of Tuscany’, or the ‘Sparkling Shiraz Food Pairing Odyssey’. Sign us up!
3. Party on!
It ain’t just about the food! Hit up the epic after party on 12 and 13 August from 10pm-2am, grab a cocktail and throw some shapes to tunes thrown down by some of Singapore’s hottest DJs. Spanning everything from retro beats to commercial pop, house, and jazz; whatever mood you’re in, those toes will be tapping.
4. New international restaurants
This year, top culinary talent from award-winning American restaurant Yardbird Southern Table & Bar will be debuting its hearty southern cuisine; think fried chicken, waffles, and fried green tomato BLTs. Alternatively, be sure to check out the Michelin starred, Macau-based Golden Peacock restaurant. Serving up signature dishes including poached farm chicken and shrimp in Chinese yellow wine, and grilled lamb skewers with chilli and cumin, we reckon this is a must-try.
5. Celebrity chefs galore
Check out some of Marina Bay Sands’ powerhouse line-up of award-winning chefs; feast on the likes of Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen signature fish and chips, Mozza’s handcrafted pizzette, or db Bistro & Oyster Bar’s famed Lobster Roll and fresh oysters. Don’t mind if we do!
