Mark your calendars, foodies! It’s time to go on a gastronomical adventure and eat to your heart’s content. The Epicurean Market returns to Marina Bay Sands from 11 to 13 August with more gourmet fine dining food from award-winning and Michelin-starred chefs. This culinary fest turns it up a notch with a line-up of contemporary dishes and cocktails inspired by local flavours, as you shop for gourmet food and take masterclasses hosted by top culinary talents while you’re at it. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s in store at this foodie Shangri-La.
Taste the Singapore street food experience
Ah, nothing like good ol’ local, multi-cultural dishes to tickle your taste buds and rekindle that sense of nostalgia. Signature local dishes such as Teochew png kueh, roti prata, rendang pipi daging, as well as local desserts like banana fritter with gula Melaka and ice cream, ice kacang ball, ice chendol and more will be featured at the food fest. Thirsty? Visit the new Kampung Bar for a selection of cocktails inspired by the hawker fare – fancy a taste of a cocktail mix of chilli, lemongrass and pandan with your Tanqueray Gin or Don Julio tequila? No harm trying!
Get up close and personal with Masterchefs
Rub shoulders with award-winning chefs and catch them in action as renowned chefs like Testsuya Wakuda (Waku Ghin), Nancy Silverton (Osteria Mozza) and David Myers (Adrift) host their masterclasses on fresh produce, making bite-sized treats and demonstrating a Californian Izakaya cuisine. Alternatively, you can check out The Connoisseur Series to snag some tips and tricks from the industry’s top wine and spirits pros!

Get a taste of the latest restaurants set to join the star-studded Marina Bay Sands food line-up – Lavo and IPPUDO. Lavo is a multi-concept restaurant, lounge bar and nightclub serving Italian food, while IPPUDO will be serving updated renditions of the Maze Soba, as well as sides such as crispy corn and chicken karaage.
Party late into the night
Not looking to leave the party early? Great! The Epicurean Market pumps up the volume from 10pm to 2am, opening the dance floor for a banging late night experience. This is open to all Epicurean Market visitors from 11 to 12 August.
Shop for groceries
Before leaving the food fest, why not shop fresh produce and fine gourmet produce from Asia, Europe and North America at the Farmer’s Market? The market is set to expand with more produce, seafood, and a greater selection of craft beers and juices. Expect brands such as Huber’s Butchery, The Cheese Artisans, Sincere Dim Sum and Épicerie Boulud when you stroll down the aisles with your shopping basket.
