More than just a dragon boat regatta, the DBS event will bring Potato Head Bali’s legendary Coconut Bar to Singapore, along with Ultra Music Festival DJs and a giant inflatable water obstacle course
If you’re on the hunt for exciting things to do in Singapore, here’s an unmissable event for you! The DBS Marina Regatta returns to The Promontory at Marina Bay for its sixth edition and, like always, it’s much more than just an adrenaline-pumping showcase of dragon boating.
This year’s regatta (a veritable dragon boating festival) will see two firsts – Potato Head Bali’s legendary Coconut Bar will finally make an appearance along with lululemon athletica’s immensely popular #thesweatlife festival. And what’s a festival without some bangin’ tunes? Attendees will also get to party to the tunes of Ultra Music Festival’s DJs, as this is the official pre-party of the gargantuan EDM spectacle.
But what we’re looking forward to the most is the massive 11,000 square feet inflatable water obstacle course. If you ever wanted to partake (and make a fool outta yourself) in a WipeOut course, this course (and its nine ridiculous obstacles) will put you adrenaline-seekers to the test.
But if you’re more artsy than athletic, then pay a visit to the whimsical interactive art dome that will feature fantastical takes on the Marina Bay landscape. Whether it’s top-notch cocktails, blood-pumping competition, or great music, there’s plenty of reasons to head down to this festival in June.
DBS Marina Regatta 2017, The Promontory@Marina Bay, 1-4 June.
