Feel-good fundraiser 100 People Doing Good is back! Find out more about the local charities that resonate with you at this meaningful event....
As the festive season fast approaches us with jingle bells, colourful light-ups and all that Christmas shopping, have you ever wondered what you can do to make it a special Christmas for someone else? If you’ve been thinking of getting involved in volunteering or doing something charitable for those less fortunate this Christmas, this is one fundraising night we want to spread the word about. 100 People Doing Good is back with a charity event on 22 November 2017 at PARKROYAL on Pickering to raise awareness of and funds for four local charities.
100 People Doing Good is a non-profit organisation run by passionate volunteers that kicked off as a great way to connect expats with local charities, and has blossomed into a regular fundraising event that has raised a grand total of $226,620 for 39 charities since its launch. If you’ve joined previous events such as 100 Women Doing Good, and 100 Men Doing Good, you’ll know that local charities such as Beyond Social Services, Willing Hearts and Aidha have benefited from this great initiative.
The upcoming November event will be the organisation’s 16th, and the groups represented this month are Down Syndrome Association Singapore, Love, Nils, Running Hour and The Foodbank Singapore. During the event, they will also share more about their meaningful work, and you’ll have the opportunity to donate to a cause that resonates with you (perhaps all!). 100% of proceeds from the night go directly to these charities.
If you wish to participate in spreading love and joy, sign up via the link here (tickets are on first-come-first-served basis). Come along for canapes, drinks, as well as an unforgettable night with good company – all for a great cause.
When: 22 November 6.30pm to 9.30pm
Where: PARKROYAL on Pickering, 3 Upper Pickering Street, Singapore 058289
Cost: $100 commitment, to go to your chosen charity. Canapes and refreshments will be served throughout the night.
