Get your buttermilk pancake fix at Nosh, where they’re served with cinnamon butter, cardamom-maple syrup, fresh fruit, and whipped cream. Or sink your teeth into Dean and Deluca’s Berries and Flapjacks, a stack of soft and fluffy oat and buttermilk pancakes, served with fresh mixed berries, cream, and drizzled with organic maple syrup.
Best ricotta pancakes
For some of the best ricotta pancakes in town, head to Skyve Elementary Bistro & Bar, where you’ll find them served with passionfruit butter, roasted almond flakes, fresh banana slices, and lashings of maple syrup. Jewel Cafe & Bar does a pretty good version too, with your choice of caramelised bananas, strawberries, or blueberries, topped with lemon zest mascarpone and a liberal dose of maple syrup. Psst, Riders Café has limited portions of their lemon ricotta pancakes, so make sure you get there before they sell out.

So you have an insatiable sweet tooth, eh? Pop over to Food for Thought (National Museum branch) for salted coconut caramel, banana, and walnut pancakes. It even comes topped with fresh cream and gula melaka syrup on the side. If your stomach can handle it, try House @ Dempsey’s seven-layer pancake. Work your way through a stack of seven fluffy butter pancakes, layered with a mixture of Nutella, raisins, dried apricots, hazelnuts, pistachios, and maple syrup.
