Pay OverEasy’s Marina Bay outlet a visit once again and tuck into all-American favourites like truffle burgers and velvety malt milkshakes
OverEasy’s hot new digs at Liat Towers is all the rage these days, but let’s not forget its original outlet at Fullerton, with its stellar view of Marina Bay. After all, we’ve lost count of the many nights spent dancing at their Guilty Pleasures parties, fuelled only by the kitchen’s mac & cheese, sliders and burgers. Need more reasons to pay this temple of Americana a visit? Here are six of our favourite OverEasy signatures.
Mac & Cheeks
This cheeky twist on the American classic sees the addition of tender braised beef cheeks to OverEasy’s signature Good Ol’ Fashioned Mac & Cheese ($22). Can adding meat to cheese ever go wrong? We think not!
Beer Can Chicken
Loosen up your belt buckles for this OverEasy signature. Comfortably serving two to three diners, this Insta-worthy dish sees a whole roast chicken propped upright, rather unceremoniously, on a can of lager beer. When you’re done giggling, you’ll find the meat spectacularly juicy and tender thanks to the moisture from the beer.
The Truffle Burger
Okay, bear with us. Truffle dishes might be a little 2015, but we’ll make room in our bellies for OverEasy’s Truffle Burger ($28). This wagyu chuck blend patty is served on a homemade bun with Swiss cheese, sauteed onions and mushrooms with a generous serving of creamy truffle mayo. We say treat yourself, and add $2 for sweet potato fries or $4 for Texas chilli fries.

The Grilled Three Cheese Sandwich
Cheese lovers, this one’s for you! The humble American lunchtime classic gets an upgrade at OverEasy. Instead of a single cheese filling, you’ll get a melty mix of parmesan, cheddar, and gruyere cheese layered between buttery slices of brioche bread. A truly indulgent treat that’ll go perfect with an ice-cold lager.
Spicy Buffalo Wings
You’ll need a couple of pints of beer to cool off after this one. Grab your buddies and tuck into a whole pound of OverEasy’s devilishly spicy Buffalo wings ($18), served with celery and a rich, creamy blue cheese sauce (the way any proper Buffalo wings should be served). Fret not if you’re scared of spice; OverEasy offers these bad boys in three aptly named spice levels: Wimp, Hot Stuff and the Crazy Mofo. Dial up the fun a bit and order the spicy wing roulette if you want to satisfy your inner daredevil.
The Famous Milkshake
Now you can’t peddle an authentic American dining experience without a proper milkshake, can you? These velvety treats ($9) come in the standard three flavours, but live a little, and try some of the more exciting options like coffee, M&Ms, Oreo and the old-school malt flavour.
