Lament no more: Keepers, a series fashion pop-ups by local jeweller Carolyn Kan, is back and not just for the weekend – but for five long months from 12 September 2014 to 15 February 2015.
Held in collaboration with Textile & Fashion Federation (TaFf) and housed at a purpose-built pop-up at Orchard Green designed by Randy Chan from Zarch Collaboratives, Keepers: Singapore Designer Collective, like its previous, smaller editions, highlight the creative works of Singapore designers across multiple disciplines, from home décor and fashion to food and architecture. Expect to see more than 50 of the city’s brightest sparks at this exciting retail showcase, including Hansel, Dzojchen, Heads of State Millinery, Ling Wu, Aijek, Grafunkt, and Democratic Society by Supermama.
Don’t just shop and go – there’ll also be two working studios with artisans in residence and a diverse calendar of events, so visitors will always have something fresh to discover all through five months. Look forward to workshops by Singapore’s first artisanal perfumery Code Deco, thematic dining by My Private Chef and Gastrogig, insightful talks, and monthly rotations of visual display installations by Head of Millinery’s Chee Sau Fen.
