With Mother’s Day just two weeks away, it’s time to pull out all the stops.

Picked up your gift yet? Perfect. Now it’s time to get cracking on the perfect spot to take her to.

Families can indulge in shared charcuterie or seafood platters or opt for set dinner and Mums even enjoy a complimentary mimosa cocktail at Graze at Rochester Park, while Graze at Martin No. 38’s Executive Chef Chris Donnellan is specially introducing special creations just for Mother’s Day with his 8 hour slow roasted lamb, portobello mushroom mousseline, sweet corn puree, confit shallots and Spanner crab omelette with black truffle salsa, soft herbs.

Go big or go home – and that’s why we opt for an indulgent Sunday brunch with unlimited bubbly. Highlights include an abundant array of fresh seafood including lobsters, oysters, clams and shrimps, a carving station, Wagyu leg station, pan-fried foie gras and (our personal fave) over 50 types of cheeses. Children can also design canvas bags for their mums.

Caffé B
Need to impress a discerning mother-in-law? Try the special Mother’s Day menu at fine Italian dining Caffé B and sweeten the deal with a complimentary stalk of flower from the restaurant (available 12 and 13 May). Choose from a five-course set menu at the restaurant or a lighter four-course at the bar. Menu highlights include Carnaroli Risotto with Foie Gras and Porcini Mushrooms and a prime-cut Tenderloin Fillet with Marsala Sauce.

Looking for an Asian kick? Normally closed on Sundays, KHA is specially opening this Mother’s Day and has whipped up a set menu for four – perfect for families. Mums also enjoy a complimentary mocktail. Check out their Mother-in-law eggs with chilli jam, nam prik plaa, and thai herbs, while you’re there; it’s making a one-day only menu appearance!

The Halia
Choose from a dinner or brunch special at the idyllic Halia.

The four-course Mother’s Day set dinner includes a starter of Capsicum veloute with pan-seared lobster and truffle oil and an entree of Tian of crab in garlic aioli, egg white, beetroot petal and chive. Main course is a choice between Pan-fried line-caught seabass fillet with yuzu orange reduction or the Char-grilled Rangers Valley beef tenderloin.

Or head the Sunday brunch route with signatures such as the Cinnamon French toast with glazed strawberry & honeycomb butter ($20), Singapore-style blue swimmer chilli crab spaghettini ($24) and an exclusive Mother’s Day Chef’s Creation of the Parmesan and basil fregola, tempura of green asparagus and baby nasu ($34).

Fat Cow
Our favourite Japanese-inspired meat atelier has specially concocted a six-course set dinner menu, serving items such as Kegani Cream Croquette, Grilled Nikka-glazed Wagyu Short Rib, Yuzu Butter Poached Lobster, and Black Sesame Brownie Smores. Each set also comes with a complmentary cocktail ‘The ChrysantheMUM Collins’ (mocktail replacement available) concocted by Fat Cow’s mixologist Matthew Radalj.

Barnacles Restaurant
Here’s a treat fit for a queen. The Mother’s Day Garden Party by the Sea at Barnacles not only has stellar food (picture freshly shucked Fine de Claire oysters, an international selection of cheese imported from France, and whole roast carvings), it also has family entertainment like a roving magician with balloon twisting activities. There will also be an extravagant three-tier Mother’s Day cake where all mothers will be invited to a cake cutting and a complimentary mystery gift for mothers. Diners can also enjoy a 15% discount off à la carte treatments at Rasa Spa – make that another bonus for mums.

If you prefer a sundown feast, all mothers get a complimentary starter complete with a glass of champagne (12 and 13 May only).

Pantry at the Stables
Mums enjoy a complimentary main course when dining with at least one other guest, and with an order of at least one other main. And for the month of May only, snag the new Apple Cobbler Cupcake ($4.80++ each) – an apple caramel cupcake topped with caramel icing and compressed apple.

The White Rabbit
Enjoy an indulgent semi-buffet brunch in this award-winning restaurant housed in a conserved chapel. Start with healthy appetizers, choose from a selection of classic European mains such as Blanquette de Veau (veal ragout, garden vegetables) and Confit de Canard (duck leg confit, white bean stew, balsamic jus) and check out the live stations like Eggs Any Style, Carved Ribeye Roast and Fresh Buttermilk Waffles with house-made fruit compotes and maple syrup.
Mothers also receive a gift from The Love of Laundry.
