Founded and designed by two Hong Kong expats, Saigon Shores has launched its first collection featuring kaftans inspired by countries in Asia
We love to support local fashion labels and footwear designers in Hong Kong, and just in time for summer, Saigon Shores has launched its first collection of kaftans. Whether you are hitting the beach in Hong Kong, or heading away on holiday, be sure to pack a fashionable cover-up to go with your swimsuit or bikini and designed right here in Hong Kong.
Saigon Shores: Designed in Hong Kong
Founded and designed by two Hong Kong expats from London, Saigon Shores has launched with its collection of silk cotton kaftans. The range finds inspiration from the colours and culture of Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and the Philippines and each piece is ethically produced in Vietnam.
Five beach kaftans featuring unique prints
With its first collection, Saigon Shores has created five beach kaftans that are handmade from 100% silk cotton in Vietnam. The range is perfect for wearing over a swimsuit or bikini while at the beach, but is elegant enough to be dressed up for evenings when on holiday.
Paying homage to Hong Kong, the Kowloon kaftan features rickshaws set against a dusky pink background – the colour of the city as the sun sets. The Bohol print is inspired by the island of Bohol in the Philippines that is known for its pineapples, while the Rawa print kaftan features a palm tree pattern reminiscent of the Malaysian island of Rawa.
